Using a pedal with LyricsTextScroller
Any USB pedal capable of simulating a key press is suitable for use with LyricsTextScroller.
Preferable is a USB triple foot switch.
The pedal which is set to simulate the arrow-down key controls the main functions in the textscroller
(Start / Stop / Scroll the text up / Wait) and shift the selection one position lower in the browser.
In the textscroller:
Choose the way you want the lyrics to be opened in the menu Delayed Start
Undependably which choice you made the pedal does the follow.
If the delay-timer is not yet on 0 seconds it starts scrolling and set the timer to 0.
If the text scrolls, a short press on the pedal stops or starts scrolling. (Use this if the scrolling-speed
is too fast).
A long press on the pedal moves the text up. (Use this if the scrolling-speed is too slow)
The other two pedals can be set to the follow keys:
Arrow-up In the textscroller: it resets the lyric.
In te browser: it shift the selection one position up.
Enter-key In the textscroller: this closes the textscroller and opens the browser.
In the browser: this key opens the selected lyric.
The above is the recommended setting for the triple foot switch.
Arrow-right In the textscroller: it opens the next lyric.
In the browser: it shifts the selector one column to the right.
Arrow-left In the textscroller: it opens the previous lyric.
In the browser: it shifts the selector one column to the left.
Right-shift-key In the textscroller it opens a random lyric.
Lyrics Text Scroller scrolls text with chords for guitar, banjo, ukulele, mandolin, mandola and bouzouki or text only.
